You can set multiple alarms for different days of the week. 30 minutes before your next morning alarm, say “Hey Google, turn on Gentle Wake Up” and then the Assistant will bring up the smart lights in the room. The feature can be enabled in a different room if you say “OK Google, turn on Gentle Wake Up in the kitchen”. If you want to enable the feature in a different room, you can say “OK Google, turn on Gentle Wake Up in the kitchen”.
How to Snooze an Alarm
To put a fullscreen clock on the display, you’ll need to open the Google Home app on youriPhone,iPad, orAndroidphone or tablet. There's no way to change the Nest Hub's clock face directly on the smart display without first using your voice. These steps will also be applicable for the second-generation Nest Hub. As it stands today, Google’s software for the Nest Hub has a way to interact with alarms through touch, rather than voice. That’s great if you have a partner sleeping in the bed and you want to turn off an alarm or set one. Google’s Nest Hub has a huge variety of uses, but one of its best is also one of the simplest – a bedside alarm clock.
I've had a Nest Hub at my bedside for almost a year now and, while the time can just about be seen when I look at it in total darkness, the display is in no way distracting and gives off almost no light at all. During the day, it makes for an attractive picture frame that cycles through images from Google's catalogue, or my own photo library. In the new Nest Hub, Soli is implemented in two different ways. The first is as a touch-free way to interact with the hub, using what Google calls Quick Gestures. Even though you can check and cancel Google Home alarms from your phone, you cannot create an alarm from either phone or computer. However, Google needs to add more clock faces to its smart displays, especially ones that can show time/date and weather at the same time.
